Elbow deformity is the malformation or distortion of the normal shape and positioning of the elbow.
Causes:
It can be congenital or acquired due to wrist joint dislocation, fracture or paralysis of the muscles attached to wrist joint.
Symptoms:
Cubitus varus and cubitus valgus are the most common elbow deformities. The deformity is mainly characterized by distortion of the normal alignment or structural organization of the joint. It can be visible to the other persons. It may cause pain in the joint along with reduced activity of the joint.
