Bony Enlargements in wrist joint and fingers is a classic symptom of the osteoarthritis of the wrist joint. It is also called as osteophytes or bone spurs.
Causes:
Although bony enlargements occur mainly in OA but, these can also occur due to aging, injury, wear and tear or degenerative joint disease
Symptoms:
The bony protuberances can be felt under the skin as thickened and extended area near joints and typically enlarge over time.
