Pain and Swelling in Knee is the most common complaint that compels the person to go to the physician. In fact this should also not be ignored as it can be a sign of the underlying disorder that needs medical intervention.

Causes:

A combination of knee pain and swelling may occur due to various reasons like trauma, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout or other joint disorders.

Symptoms:

In most of the cases, knee pain and swelling makes it impossible for the person to put weight on the joint or move it completely.  It may also be associated with some deformity in the leg or knee.
