Shoulder deformity is the malformation or distortion of the normal shape and positioning of the shoulder.
Causes:
It can be congenital like sprengel's deformity (also known as high scapula or congenital high scapula) or acquired due to shoulder dislocation, fracture or paralysis of the muscles attached to shoulder joint.
Symptoms:
The deformity is mainly characterized by distortion of the normal alignment or structural organization of the joint. It can be visible to the other persons. It may cause pain in the joint along with reduced activity of the joint.
